Founded in 2004, Mothers’ Milk Bank of North Texas strives to improve the health and survival of critically ill infants through the safe provision of pasteurized donor human milk. Milk donors complete a thorough screening process in order to donate their extra breastmilk their own babies don’t need. That milk is then analyzed, pasteurized and tested to ensure safety for the fragile infants we serve. Since opening, MMBNT has dispensed more than 3.5 million ounces of safe donor human milk to hospital NICUs and outpatients in need.
