Celebrating 14 Years of Milk Banking

Celebrating 14 Years of Milk Banking

Thursday, 9/6/2018

Fall is an exciting time for Mothers’ Milk Bank of North Texas. Since opening in 2004, MMBNT celebrates its anniversary each September with a luncheon. This year’s event, Milk Banking at Home and Around the World, will take place at 11:30 am Thursday, September 27 at River Crest Country Club in Fort Worth.

Guests will enjoy lunch, dessert and a presentation from Kimberly Mansen, Program Officer of Maternal, Child and Infant Health and Nutrition at PATH, a global health organization based in Seattle. Kimberly will discuss the state of milk banking globally, including the establishment and growth of milk banks in developing countries. Additionally, there will be a raffle containing a variety of prizes, from local restaurant gift cards to gift baskets from local stores and boutiques.

The Gold event sponsor is Pediatrix Medical Group - Fort Worth Neonatology. Silver sponsors include Andrews Women’s Hospital at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth and Cook Children’s Medical Center. Bronze sponsors are the Amy E. Shewbart Foundation, Customized Communications, Newborn Nightingales, Pier 1 Imports, Southwest Bank and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.

Individual tickets are $75, $50 of which is a tax-deductible donation. All money raised at the event, including ticket sales, sponsorships and raffle ticket sales will go toward our programs that help babies in need. To purchase a ticket, click here.

We hope to see you at River Crest on September 27!
