On Friday, July 26, 2013, our friends at March of Dimes, in partnership with Baylor All Saints Medical Center Fort Worth and CBS 11/TXA 21, will host the Cowtown Cradles Community Baby Shower in Fort Worth, Texas.
The event raises awareness for prenatal education and the opportunities available to support healthy pregnancies through community-based March of Dimes programs. The programs offer prenatal education to parents, support and encouragement to families in difficult times and act as a resource to health professionals in Texas and across the United States. The overall goal of March of Dimes is to promote healthy pregnancies and to improve birth outcomes.
In an effort to support local mothers and babies at this event, the community is invited to donate: diapers; wipes; bath accessories; bottles; and new or gently-used preemie, infant, toddler and maternity clothes at the Cowtown Cradles Community Baby Shower. Financial contributions are also welcomed and will be used to purchase additional baby items. However, car seats, cribs and recalled items cannot be accepted.
If you would like to donate, the Cowtown Cradles Community Baby Shower will be held outside of Baylor All Saints Medical Center in the fountain area near the main entrance. Donations will be accepted at this location from 6am until 2pm on Friday, July 26.
